Sponsorship

Dear Valued Community Leaders and Members:

Cleveland Humanities Magnet High School (affectionately nicknamed “CORE”) is one of the most prestigious and well-respected programs in public education. In fact, CORE is the only magnet program in California to have won the Magnet School of Excellence award from Magnet Schools of America seven years in a row. Our Magnet serves 880 students from all over Los Angeles, particularly in the San Fernando Valley, and is part of Grover Cleveland High Charter School, which hosts almost 4000 students.

Given the catastrophic cuts to education over the last several years and the minimal budget the Magnet receives, the Cleveland Humanities Magnet Parent Association (CHMPA) was created to raise the funds necessary to keep the program surviving and thriving. We are therefore seeking strategic partnerships with business people in the community.

We are hosting our annual fundraising event on April 5, 2019 called COREchella, a benefit concert that for the last five years has drawn more than 1500 attendees. The event takes place on our campus and includes a fabulous showcase of student musical talent, an amazing silent auction, a food truck festival, a VIP (Very Important Parent) Lounge, and other special surprises! We would like to invite you to become a sponsor. View our sponsorship levels.

Please help CORE and allow us to return the favor!

We have started a partnership campaign, which offers many opportunities for you to reach our highly engaged student and parent body, as well as the entire Cleveland High School community, their families, friends, and neighbors. Every dollar you donate is tax-deductible and will directly support our students and this wonderful program. Our non-profit (application pending) tax ID number is #83-0869045.

On behalf of Cleveland Humanities Magnet and Cleveland Humanities Magnet Parent Association, we thank you for your consideration and support of this worthwhile endeavor. Your sponsorship will make a tremendous difference in our students’ lives.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at Cleveland’s Magnet Office at 818-885-2342.

We look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,

CHMPA Leadership Team
